EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: ADMINISTRATIVE & BOOKKEEPING ASSISTANT
Gwaalagaa Naay Corporation is seeking an administrative assistant for a full-time position.
The Administrative and Bookkeeping Assistant reports directly to the Executive Director of Gwaalagaa Naay Corporation (GNC). The primary responsibility will be to work collaboratively with the Executive Director and Bookkeeper to assist in managing the day-to-day operations of GNC and the various companies it oversees.
Responsibilities:
• Handling phone calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
• Greeting visitors to the office
• Managing and organizing office files, documents, and records
o Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Personnel etc.
o Ensuring staff certifications are updated
o Planning and implementation of training programs
• Assisting with general office maintenance and supplies management
• Preparing and editing documents, reports, and presentations
• Attending board of director meetings, minute taking, and keeping of the minutes
• Running errands, including mail pickup/drop off, shopping, etc.
• Preparing brochures and advertising for GNC’s businesses and projects
• Scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
• Assuming additional responsibilities and tasks as requested by the Executive Director from time to time

Remuneration: Full-time position with benefits (upon successful completion of probation), competitive hourly wage based on experience of $20.95.
