MuseumThe Dixon Entrance Maritime Museum in Masset is the home to a great number of pieces of Haida Gwaii History. Extensive photo archives and physical collections show the change the islands have gone through in the modern era. However, one of the most interesting pieces the museum has to offer is the building itself.

Many of us are secret “sing-in-the-shower” people. We enjoy singing but only when no one can hear us. When we were young, we were probably told our voice was not good or our timing was off. Sadly, a hurtful message like that can shut us down for the rest of our lives. Not only did we stop singing, it’s possible we decided from then on that we also couldn’t speak our truth.
